Not to much to report. Here is Zoe and Ernie lounging, actually we all were, and watching the movie Cars. We've seen it many times since Al's birthday, Zoe loves it. 
We finally took Zoe skating, she's been wanting to go forever ago. Al and I hadn't been in about 6 yrs. or more, so we were all unsteady on our skates. Zoe thinks that she should be able to just go out there and do it. I think she realizes now that skating is alot harder than it looks, and it will take some practice before she can figure skate and/or play hockey.
She did really well, I think we forget that just standing on skates is alot of work, and then the gliding and actual skating too. We'll definitely be making this a favourite activity to do. I love it too. When I lived in PR, and was 4, I was in figure skating and doing those skating shows. I think Zoe is more interested in hockey though, but she can start with some lessons first. Since Zoe has such great balance and co-ordination, I think she'll be a natural. Zoe was really trying to convince Al that he should let her join in on the hockey game being playing on the other half of the rink, she was saying "shoots, scores.", as if imagining what she'd do it she had the chance. Someday, maybe!

Good for Zoe for trying out skating! I remember having SO much fun when we used to go to the rink. I loved watching the figure skaters float around on the ice and dreamed that I too would be that nimble on skates....I still don't have that much grace on the ice. :(
She is adorable. I bet once she is in some lessons and does her first figure skating show she will be hooked on the twirls and jumps!
