UDO

That's the name of Al's baby...1954 VW ragtop bug.
Proud papa is pictured bringing parts that have just been painted, shiny and "when you look at it, it's like a mirror" (Al's loving words). His project is finally underway, with a light at the end of the tunnel, Al is ecstatic.
I hear all the tiny details going into this baby, most of it makes no sense to me, but I listen like a loving wife should. Actually I'm just nodding and appearing interested while I plan out my day for tomorrow, writing a mental list.... :), I'm kidding, well mostly.
Al says the picture does not do the paint job justice, but it is really nice, we are both happy with the colour.
