June stuff
So May and June have zzzoomed on by us...and we are already here, at the end of the school year. Evan turned 1, and is starting to walk. Zoe is bored after 2 days home for summer, Lord help me...we will be keeping busy, let's just hope it's busy enough. Here is some updates, and pictures.
Zoe the Toothless Wonder, lost her 5th tooth to make her smile extra goofy. Another loose one on it's way out too. I think we might be a bit ahead of schedule with the teeth falling out, but Zoe is loving it, and the dentist seems fine with it.

One day after school, Zoe said she had to pick all the flowers in the grass, for me, so that Daddy wouldn't mow over them that evening. Sweet girl. and smart too.
An early sunny June day, playing the backyard. That water table never gets boring.

EVAN TURNS 1...
it was nice, we had my parents here for the weekend, and Allison & Jordan over for a "party"...one year old style.

How Evan entertains himself while I make dinner, it's all good until he starts unloading.
I took this picture, after watching Zoe for awhile, and suddenly I "really" saw just how BIG she is ... she is no longer that little toddler/preschooler. She looks so grown-up in these 2 pictures.

My pack rat husband does get some pretty sweet deals sometimes, shhhhh that is something I am admitting on the down-low. In this case the deal was free, and the sweet was a canoe. Our friends had moved on to other hobbies, and their kids were no longer interested, so Al scored during the move. Among some other toys, this was the best one. Zoe and Al went for a test run on Cranberry Lake, they both had fun, no one sank, and the scenery was beautiful. I think that many canoe trips are ahead of us.

Zoe worked very hard at school and daycare making Father's Day gifts, the results were right up Al's alley - all eatable...cake, jam, & biscuits.
Zoe had FUN on her 1st FUN Day at school, she ran gangbusters for the 1st 2 hours, and then lost her wind....only to regain it again to do another lap or two around the obstacle course....then home she went, and passed out on the couch.

And so is Evan, getting so BIG... oh my goodness. He is so CUTE.

Below is this quick clip of Zoe taking part in a presentation the Ks did for the parents, you can't see Zoe very well because of the monitor being in the way...hopefully you can hear her alright. She spoke the loudest and clearest out of 18 students...most were pretty shy, soft spoken, and short sentences or one word were used since they all kind of got stage fright....but not ZOE - after all her hard work, this is what made me the proudest. They were to share a thought of K or Grade 1 along with a picture that they drew. Zoe drew herself being excited about going into Grade 1, and she said just that.
Zoe receiving her "diploma", gift, and other stuff. She was supposed to shake their hands but she just went in for the hugs instead.
