What is going on in PR?!
First we got the yummy Starbucks arrival in 2 locations. They put one in Safeway too. I am a frequent coffee hound at the other one located in the mall parking lot and LOVE their drive thru.
Then we had Liquidation World open up, and that can be pretty good, especially when we were Christmas shopping.
The construction on Staples (which I love) is almost done, and it's right beside Canadian Tire. and looks big!
I don't know where Mark's Work Wearhouse is going yet, but that would be great too. More variety to shop from, hullo, if you've been here you know, there is only a few pathetic choices.
Now if only the Powell Rumour was true, and a Tim Horton's would come, then things would be right in PR world. It would be great to get an Old Navy, the Gap, Toy R Us, Ikea-(dreaming), and actual department stores like Sears, the Bay, but I know that is very wishful thinking. I guess it wouldn't be a small town then, and we probably wouldn't want to live here if it was that big.Anyway Big things are happening in little PR, and some people here aren't taking it really well, surprise, surprise, CHANGE can be good. They just don't know it yet.
I, personally, am thrilled with it all. I wonder what will come next.

Yowza!! Things are happening in our old town! I always wondered what would become of the big huge space by Canadian Tire. I'm afraid my Savings account would dwindle quickly with both a Starbucks and a Staples nearby... I love my Chai and I love pens and stationery!!
I wonder if TH will come...the rumour has been whispered for a LONG time...I wonder.....
TH's rumour has been circulating for 6 years now... hard to say if it will ever be a reality??????????
2 Starbucks. I will definately now come visit again in the future. We don't even have a drive thru one down here! I am glad you are getting a variety of stores.
