Merry Ho, Ho, Ho!

This picture is from Zoe's preschool Christmas party this morning, Santa was a big hit, and all the kids really enjoyed his visit. Zoe loves Santa this year, and couldn't wait to have a turn sitting on his knee, I didn't hear everything that was said between them but I did hear her tell Santa that she is now 4 years old. She's very proud to be 4! We are so happy that Santa isn't a scary figure for Zoe, we've never taken her to see him at a mall or anything like that before this year. Although last year at her daycare party, Santa came to visit, but Zoe wasn't very interested in the party or Santa. This year, like everything else, Zoe seems to be overcoming her fears and blossoming into an adventurous soul. It's so wonderful to watch. We'll be seeing Santa again at Zoe's daycare party. Zoe keeps telling me that Santa is tired, and we absolutely agree, he is everywhere and also making toys, whew! Thank goodness for little elves!

On Dec. 09, we were thrilled that Zoe loved her birthday party, we rented a room at the complex, and invited lots of friends. She's also enjoying the excitement and parties that come with Christmas, and isn't appearing to be too overwhelmed by it all....so far...hopefully Abbotsford with lots of family and going here and there goes well over Christmas too. Zoe is really looking forward to visiting her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents. And of course Santa and Rudolph coming to leave her presents on Christmas Eve, there is lots of curiousity around this topic. First, you go to sleep and somehow Santa flies in the sky with reindeer, finds all the kids, slips down the chimney and leaves presents for you...all without being seen or heard. This is how "He's magical, mommy!" came about. Funny girl!
