TA DA, Postal Carrier Zoe

We made some cards, and decorated other cards to be sent out too. Once they were addressed and stamped, we headed out to do some mailing.

Zoe said "hi letter" and "bye letter" to each thing that she sent. The mailing pouch is from a daycare project, where the kids all coloured a picture and then walked to the mailbox to mail it to someone special. Zoe's coloured flowers arrived just in time for Papa's post surgery in hospital stay. And Zoe personally mailed each and every one, on her tip toes. I helped by lifting her for the last couple of things, as she said "I need ya", I guess she was feeling tired....from lots of stretching.
Then we hand delivered a couple more cards for Easter. Once our hard day at work was done, I thought a chocolate milkshake would be a great way to end this little field trip. It was received very well with a sweet little "thank-you mom"! We went to the park by the ocean afterwards but that was short lived, as it was cold and kind of windy.

We headed home to where Al was just about done putting in our ceiling speakers, one in the kitchen, and one in the main bathroom. GROOVY baby, now I can be in the kitchen, and listen to some tunes...and bath with some soft music playing. THANKS honey, for putting those in on your day off. You know how is goes, if it's your job at work, it is tough to do it at home too. Zoe was a little confused as to how daddy actually got into the ceiling of the kitchen, he was talking to her and waving at her thru the hole! She thought this was pretty funny. Zoe was going down the hall to find Al because I told her he would be coming out of our bedroom (that's where the attic hatch is) and when she saw him come out of there, she said "TA DA"! Sure, now she thinks he can perform magic tricks too.
